Gynecomastia, or (man boobs), is the development of abnormally large mammary glands in males resulting in breast enlargement.

Gynecomastia can be physiologic (occurring normally during infancy, puberty and older age), or pathologic (due to drugs or disorders such as androgen deficiency, testicular tumors, hyperthyroidism, and chronic kidney disease).

Approximately 40% of all men will suffer from this condition at one point in their life. The conditions in teenagers will around 95% of the cases go away in a matter of months.
