Men Shaving Body Hair - Is that OK?
by Paolo Basauri
Male body shaving is everywhere nowadays, the latest trends in men's grooming are making this subject more and more popular each passing day, but...is it the best thing to do? I know you may be eager to get rid of unwanted body hair, but shaving in fact can be the worse method to apply.
Quick fact: Shaving hurts your skin.
Yes, believe it because it is true. Did you think that passing a blade over your surface's skin didn't do any damage to it? Shaving does an amount of damage to your skin that is treated by using aftershave and moisturizers. Your face suffers that also by the way, that is why it is so important to shave using good technique. So, after shaving your body, you'll need plenty of revitalizers and of course a moisturizers to help your skin recover.
Then comes the itching, that terrible itching you get after saving. Why does it happen? Well when you shave you are just cutting the hair, that hair grows out of the skin instantly and it is pointy because you've just cut it. This makes the hair growth an annoying and frustrating thing that I really don't wish to anyone. But still, with these two inconvenient, body shaving is a common practice - even wrongly recommended practice among men, and the preferred beginner's method.
You may be wondering why, and the answer is quite simple: shaving is very cheap, and it is something you can try in the privacy of your home. These are powerful reasons if you ask me. The first one is quite obvious if we compare it to the high costs of other treatments like laser hair removal, or electrolysis, and the second is also important because men like to feel manly. If they go to a spa, they may feel uncomfortable.
Of course, everything is changing and we are seeing more and more men going to spas. I'd recommend you too! There are better ways to get rid of that unwanted hair hat not only works best, but also delays the re-growth of hair on your body.
